How do you pay for an imported F350 or F450? The three purchase options
By Tyson Betts · 17 October 2026
Betts Works offers three ways to buy. With Direct, you fund the vehicle and shipping once it's secured. With the 22.3% Deposit option, you and Betts Works share the purchase and shipping costs. With the 5% Deposit option, Betts Works buys, imports, converts, complies and retails the finished truck to you. Every option starts with a 5% deposit on order.
Option 1: Direct
You fund the vehicle purchase and shipping costs once the vehicle has been secured.
- 5% deposit payable on order.
- The vehicle portion is payable once the VIN is secured, minus the 5% already paid.
- The remaining balance for conversion, compliance and so on is invoiced on completion, before delivery.
Option 2: 22.3% Deposit
You and Betts Works both contribute to the vehicle purchase and shipping costs.
- 5% deposit payable on order.
- A further payment equal to 17.3% of the total invoice once the vehicle (VIN) is secured.
- A 2.5% Betts Works funding fee on the total invoice.
- The remaining balance is payable on completion, before delivery.
- The total purchase price is 2.5% higher than the customer-funded import order.
Option 3: 5% Deposit
Betts Works purchases, imports, converts, complies and retails the completed vehicle directly to you.
- 5% deposit payable on order or from stock.
- A 5% Betts Works funding fee on the total invoice.
- The remaining balance is payable on completion, before delivery.
- The total purchase price is 5% higher than the customer-funded import order.
What else to know before you commit
- Purchase structures are indicative and are confirmed in your individual order agreement.
- Betts Works does not provide credit or financial services. Finance may be available through specialist third-party brokers, who set their own assessment, rates, fees and terms.
- POA means Price on Application. It's used when the final price depends on the vehicle's landed status, equipment or conversion scope.
- Prices are not drive-away unless the listing or written quotation says so. You get an itemised written quotation showing what's included.
